My undergraduate work was conducted at Ohio State University, where I majored in Women’s Studies in the Humanities. This was ultimately followed by my graduate work at the University of Dayton, where I was graduated with a Master’s in Education, with an emphasis on Community Counseling. I interned at Parenthesis Family Advocates, where I worked with adopted children and their families.
The “LPC” next to my name indicates that I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. This has the same status as an MSW or Master in Social Work, with the primary difference being a heavier emphasis on individual counseling techniques.
